Orchestra Wellington's Ocean programme includes:
Tzigane - Maurice Ravel (1875-1937) Triple Concerto for Violin, Cello, and Piano in C Major, op 56 - Beethoven (1770-1827) Ocean - Victoria Kelly (1973-)
Ravel's Tzigane features violinist Amalia Hall and Beethoven's Triple Concerto is a collaboration with the NZTrio.
Ocean explores connections which moved Victoria Kelly (Orchestra Wellington's 2026 Composer-in-Residence) while on a transformative journey to the Antarctic, within a community of people who collaborate peacefully to better understand the world.
A pre-concert talk will take place in the Renouf Foyer from 6.30pm-7.00pm.
